ADVANTAGES
1) Maximize Space
Mobile Modular Lab Bench can be arranged in a way that maximizes space. Some configurations allow for multiple setups within smaller areas. The layout can be adjusted as needed, and unlike fixed units, modular options are easily movable.
2) Provide Remote Workstations for Personnel
In today’s uncertain times, having the ability to offer remote workspaces is essential. Even if this wasn’t initially considered during the creation of a laboratory or workspace, mobile modular components make it easier to change layouts. Unlike traditional custom-built workbenches, which are difficult to remove and relocate without significant downtime or costs, modular components offer more flexibility.
3) Increase Lab Expansion Capabilities
One of the most attractive benefits of mobile modular units is the ability to expand as needed. Unlike fixed workbenches, modular options can be easily altered or rearranged to accommodate growth.
4) Ideal Laboratory Layout and Design
Modern laboratory designs require optimizing workspace, efficiency, and social distancing (especially in universities). As laboratory designs and layouts evolve over time, mobile modular units can adapt to changing workspace and personnel needs.
5) Customization and Durability
Customization and quality are crucial for flexible casework. These solutions can be used for many years and provide simple maintainability when needed.
6) Cost
Laboratory designers and architects must consider the overall situation when pricing modular units. The total cost of ownership may be significantly lower than that of fixed units. Labor required for installation is less, and any modifications to the floor plan are also easier. Typically, modular units can result in lower initial costs for larger installations and sometimes for smaller ones.
Summary:
If your laboratory or workspace needs flexibility and planning for future uncertainties, modular options are an excellent choice. The lower total cost of ownership, faster delivery cycles, and installation times make it an ideal solution for most projects.
