Electric drill/screwdriver with bits

Pre-Installation Preparation
Review Layout Plan:
Refer to the provided room layout or CAD drawings. This will help ensure each bench and module is installed in the correct location.
Check Floor Condition:
Make sure the installation surface is level, clean, and free of debris. Concrete or tiled flooring is preferred for heavy-duty lab furniture.
Unpack Components Carefully:
Remove all packaging with care. Do not use sharp blades near finished surfaces to avoid scratches or damage.
Organize Components by Station:
Group the parts for each workstation together. This simplifies the workflow and prevents mix-ups.
Step-by-Step Installation Guide
1. Frame Assembly (Steel Structure)
a. Layout the Leg Assemblies
Position the leg frames in accordance with your layout drawing. Legs should be evenly spaced to support the worktop, typically 900–1200mm apart.
b. Connect Horizontal Beams and Bracing
Using provided bolts and washers, attach horizontal support beams between legs. Crossbars add lateral stability—install them as shown in the assembly drawings.
c. Check Level and Alignment
Use the bubble level to ensure all legs and frames are perfectly vertical and level before tightening bolts.
2. Install Cabinet Bases (Optional)
If your bench includes under-counter storage cabinets:
Place the cabinets between leg structures.
Cabinets are typically freestanding but can be fastened to frame or floor for added security.
Make sure drawers and doors open freely without obstruction.
3. Install Work Surface
Depending on your chosen material:
Position the top surface on the frame or cabinets.
Align flush with the front edge for ergonomic access.
Secure from below using screws or adhesive brackets (as specified).
Lay the surface gently onto the frame.
Fasten with stainless steel bolts or clips to avoid corrosion.
IMPORTANT: Do not overtighten screws. Overcompression can crack resin or deform the frame.
4. Accessory Installation
Mount vertical posts to the rear edge of the workbench.
Attach shelving at desired heights using provided clamps or brackets.
Drop-in sinks should be sealed using chemical-resistant silicone.
Connect plumbing lines (water and drain) using qualified technicians.
c. Power Strips & Fixtures
Mount electrical strips to underside or rear of workbench.
Ensure proper grounding and follow local electrical codes.
5. Final Adjustments & Inspection
Confirm all screws, bolts, and attachments are secure.
Adjust levelers on legs or cabinet bases if required.
Clean all surfaces with a damp cloth to remove dust or fingerprints.
Inspect for scratches or damage; contact our service team if needed.
Safety Tips
Always wear protective gloves during assembly.
Never exceed the recommended weight capacity for benches or racks.
Ensure sinks and power modules are installed by certified professionals.
Keep the area clear of obstructions during assembly to avoid tripping hazards.
Maintenance Recommendations
Wipe down surfaces regularly with a mild detergent.
Avoid using strong acids or solvents unless worktops are chemical-resistant.
Check fasteners every 6 months to ensure structural integrity.
Lubricate drawer slides and hinges annually to maintain smooth operation.
